Summaries
All CAPS textbooks are summarized according to the contents of the different textbooks.
For Grades 4 to 6 learners the summaries are presented according to the question and answer method.
Grade 7 learners have the option of question and answer or point by point summaries. Grades 8 to 12 learners have point by point summaries.
We also provide summaries for the compiled textbooks of different schools. To use this service, we kindly request that you send us the work via e-mail as soon as possible for completion. Our policy is to load the summaries on the website 7 days before the test/exam date.
Work not received within 15 working days prior to the test/exam date can unfortunately not be summarised.

Prescribed Storybooks
Prescribed storybooks will be uploaded on the website when summaries are available.
To summarize prescribed storybooks, we require:
- Title and author of book

Poetry
We offer analyses of both Afrikaans and English poems in a simple manner, ensuring pupils gain a better understanding within their ability to conceptualize the poems.
Poems are loaded on the website in two formats:
- PowerPoint format
- Pintjie Beautiful format
To analyze a poem, we require:
- Copy of each poem (with request)
Languages
Explanations have been set out to help pupils understand the respective concepts for Afrikaans and English.
Class Speeches
Class speeches are unfortunately only prepared for learners who belong to Studiemeester. The class speeches are a free service that we provide to Studiemeester parents.
The turnaround time on class speeches is three working days (excluding the day on which the request was received, weekends and public holidays).
Please note the following limitations on this service:
- We only provide class speeches – no poems, plays, dialogues, debates, interviews, reviews, book reports or essays.
- Unfortunately, we do not compose class speeches that require questioning or must be done from assignments.
- It is very difficult to write class speeches about, for example, “My Vacation” without more information.
Task Research
The turnaround time for task research is three working days (excluding the day the request was received, weekends and public holidays).
